On Thursday 8 May our campaign group was mentioned in The Times (print and online), in relation to the news that Government would not be proceeding with Law Commission proposals to liberalise domestic surrogacy law; a decision we have strongly welcomed.
In March 2025 we, along with twelve other women’s and children’s rights organisations, wrote to the Home Office and Department for Health and Social Care, asking them to consider a ban on British residents travelling abroad to pursue surrogacy. To date, we have not received a reply to our letter.
